The Place is mainly aimed at the people who wish to beautify their homes with some sorts of wooden Souvenirs. You could get almost everything here from small table showpieces to giant wall paintings. Apart from the Shopping this small passage which also leads to Chapslee estate and Longwood and the Heartthrob of Young boys, RKMV (The Girls College). It is also the gateway to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital which is a goto place for the people of HImachal Pradesh in case they counter any kind of sickness. The place is also famous for Aloo Tikki and Chhole Bhature served by Sita Ram Restaurant. You can see the crowds standing in queues to get their turn on the delicious offerings from the restaurant.

Lakkar Bazaar is also home to the roller skating rink in Meena Bazaar where one can enjoy skating with loud music in the background.
