Naldehra, a hill Station in Shimla, is situated at an approx. distance of 20 KMs from main Shimla City and at a height of approx. 2000 mtrs. Above the sea level. Naldehra, which happens to be home of one of my close mate, offers a great experience to visitors in terms of Its Lush Green surroundings, a sneak into the creative approach of the British Era and amazing people apart from the various activities.
Naldehra is home to Mahunag Temple, which is dedicated to the Serpant God and this is how it derives its name. Naldehra was discovered by Lord Curzon, The British Viceroy.
Travel agencies seldom include it in the standard itineraries owing to varied reasons such as lack of time with the guests or being on another side of the regular route, however, as per my experience one must get the itinerary customised itinerary and visit one of the best places of attraction in Shimla.

Try to Climb the small rock mountains at Naldehra Heights – Go to Pajog, and indulge in an adventure of climbing the small rock mountains. Try smaller first and then gradually increase your climbs as you grow in confidence. This is going to be an amazing experience. I enjoyed it more than the words of my friend. It was mesmerizing, it was fun. And to add to all of that I could see the various parts of Shimla like, Sunni, Tattapani, The Satluj River, Shali Tibba, Rampur apart from the local surroundings.
Hop On to the Roadside Food Stalls – After all the climbings and walks, you may get hungry for sure and what best than the road side food stall when you are hungry. They will serve you all kinds of Fast foods and believe me it can be finger licking the least.
Revolving Restaurant – Naldehra is also home to plenty of good hotels. Being home to many big hotel chains such as Sarovar Portico and Club Mahindra, It also is home to The Chalets Naldehra which offers you with a revolving restaurant. So if your pocket allows it is also a thing to do in Naldehra.
